the dabney
122 blagden alley nw, washington, DC 20001tel: 202) 450-1015
what was consumed: foie gras biscuit, charred sunchokes, hearth roasted vegetables, fried sugar toads, beaver creek quail

we took the advice of our server (bartender in our case) and ordered some of his favorite things off the menu and we were not disappointed. the sunchokes were charred just enough to give the flavor without being too overwhelming, the quail was grilled just right and seasoned so well, and nature's gravy found in the yolk above the foie gras was just so decadent (or so i hear).
